Quarto Table

DETAILS: The Quarto Table is designed by India Foster. The table is made from reclaimed albizia and the solid wood pieces are held together with meticulous butterfly joints. The tables are handmade in Miami by a master craftsman. Albizia is a tropical hardwood species with a rich contrasting grain. It is invasive in South Florida and the trees are being removed in an effort to restore native ecosystems. The timber is milled locally in South Florida and cured for several years before it is ready for use.
