DETAILS: This tray is designed by India Foster in collaboration with Miles of Wood. Each tray is made from reclaimed mahogany and recessed to fit a handmade stoneware dish from Avenue Ceramics. Mahogany is a tropical hardwood species prized for its open grain and beautiful sheen. It is endangered in the wild, so the highly prized wood is sourced locally from (sub)urban trees or wild trees that fell naturally during a storm.  The wood is treated with an all natural, petroleum free, food safe finish.
